Episode 2

https://www.sweetdeviation.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Episode-2-.mp3 Full Podcast Directory Impulse Control In this episode, we talk about the ways we can get caught in a loop of negative self talk. It is imperative that we learn to break that cycle and speak truth to the situation.   We will develop a habit of breaking the loop and arguing against misbeliefs.  The exercise here is to allow yourself the space between the “feeling” and your “argument” to see if there is truth in it. Episode 9-Make it, don’t fake it

If you have anxiety and frustration around the fear of failure. You are in the right place.  We’ve all heard the saying Fake it ’til you make it, right? I’ve tried that for years and.. I felt like a fraud.  I don’t want to fake it anymore.   If you are like me, take a listen to this episode and see if we can make it together If you listened to episode 8, where I talked about confidence,  you might feel that the idea of I am likable and exude confidence, is still incongruent with  feelings of self-doubt and self-deprecating habits.  …

I think we can agree that feelings of unworthiness hardly ever lead to confidence. Do you know someone who just exudes confidence,  The person who believes so strongly in themselves that it makes YOU uncomfortable? …

Episode 6 – Lack of Direction

No two thoughts can occupy the mind at the same time. Don’t believe me? Try. You can’t think two thoughts simultaneously… In quick secession, maybe, but not at the same time. Unfortunately, our brains can hijack our thoughts and we can wind up playing the self-destructive negative talk quietly but consistently throughout our day. The Ant and the Elephant I’m reminded of a story I heard once at a management conference about the Elephant and the ant….it asks: If an ant is traveling west on the back of an elephant that is traveling east…which way is the ant traveling? I …

The Creative Magpie Magpies love all the shiny things. They are considered one of the most intelligent birds in the world. They are best known for their avid collection of shiny objects.  They will snag tinsel and bobbles to adorn their nests.  If you are a creative person with ADD, I imagine that you can find use or inspiration in a lot of different things that other people would just toss out.  This can cause us to hold on to too much stuff because we see the potential of it. This leads us to have more clutter and stuff. And …
